    Father Tony’s current study is:

    “Philippians – A Sweet and Affirming Epistle”

    Starting Wednesday, October 16th following the Healing Service at 11am.

    Someone recently described this Epistle as “The Sweet Epistle” and so it is. Sweet not in the sense of flavor but in the sense of encouraging and affirming. And so it is, but in addition it also calls us to imitate Jesus. 

    Philippians 2:5–8 (NIV84) — 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 

    The beautiful epistle also gives us wonderful encouragement about our Christian lives.

    Philippians 4:19 (NIV84) — 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
