Holy Cross Happenings - Faces and Places

My name is Sandra (Raynor) Dulgar, born June 11, 1941 in Sandpoint, Idaho to Guy and Louise Raynor, followed in the next year by a Brother and, some eight years later, a Sister. In 1958 I married and was blessed with three children, one of which is living here and the reason I came to be in Tennessee. My working life focused on close interaction with people, largely in a helping mode through various government agencies. It seems to be the sort of thing that suits me and certainly what I enjoy

In 1984 I married James 'Dick' Dulgar in Pioche, Nevada. It was here that I became a member of Christ Church, the Episcopal Church in that community. It was a great blessing to me. From that time on I have been aware that the Episcopal Church is where I belong. A few years later my husband's work took us to Tonopah, Nevada where I became a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and on November 15, 1997 was honored to be chosen to be ordained the Deacon for that Church

It is my hope to be able to use the experience, knowledge and gifts that I gained in my working and spiritual life to be of use to Holy Cross. I found a special warmth and friendliness here from the very first. I would like to be a part of passing this gift of welcoming along to others that come here. I am blessed and honored to be allowed to serve as Deacon to Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
